I've decided that I really need to get some of my projects DONE before I do any more shopping. It's killing me but I've got to do it!
I spent most of the day searching around for ideas for my dollhouse. Really didn't get much accomplished... Maybe tomorrow I'll actually get something done?
I need to repair, sand and prime my dollhouse. I want it become the beach house I've always wanted! Here are some of the ideas I've gathered...
I'm starting to see everything in miniature! This could really become addicting, just like thrift store shopping!
Can't wait to see all of the thrify things YOU find this weekend!
I'm not shopping... unless you consider that adorable dollhouse doll I got on Etsy today... and the lovely print I bought from Janet Hill's Studio this week!
Blessings, Kathi
I LOVE your dollhouse and your choices. I just got a dollhouse a couple of months ago but I got the metal kind which was popular when I was a kid ( the in early 60's). Somehow decorating it with the plastic pink furniture that was used during that time is not very appealing. I think yours looks like much more fun!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had your commitment :) If there is anything to do other than my chores or project list. . . I usually will do it. Your dollhouse is adorable. And I love your ideas for decorating it. I'm looking for one. Someone in blogland had used an old doll house, a bigger one, as a shelf above her washer in her laundry room to store her laundry supplies. I thought that was the cutest idea.
ReplyDeleteCan you make me a teeny person so I can move right in to your beach dollhouse. What a fun idea. Can I have some coffee, too. please.
ReplyDeleteI love your ideas! I didn't shop any myself.

What a cute little house! I've always wanted a dollhouse to play with. I just don't have any room for one. I like all your inspiration photos! About a year ago dollhouses were making the rounds on the decorating blogs - I think it was Project Little House or something like that.
